FAQ
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail is an outdoor nighttime experience. Walk a moonlit trail through iconic Minecraft biomes, craft gear, mine diamonds, battle mobs, and help restore an ancient beacon. Team up with some unique characters across eight immersive zones — from cherry groves and glowing caves to an epic final showdown. This isn’t something you watch. It’s something you live.
Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail takes approximately one hour to complete.
Absolutely! Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail is fun for everyone. Even if you’ve never played Minecraft, you’ll still have a blast interacting with its unique characters and immersing yourself in its surprising worlds.
Minecraft Experience: Moonlight trail is safe for children of all ages, however, the experience is designed for children aged 7 and up to fully participate.
Like the game, some parts of the experience may be a little dark and spooky, but there is no explicit language, graphic violence or gore whatsoever, nor are there jumpscares. For reference, the original video game has a recommended PEGI rating of 7 and an ESRB rating of Everyone 10+.

Please note, we are not able to accommodate strollers inside the experience. Any children unable to walk must be carried by their caregivers.
Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail is an outdoor night experience, so it will contain moments of loud noises and immersive moving projections that may make you feel dizzy or lightheaded. It is not recommended for people with sensory sensitivity.
Feel free to take pictures and videos to share with your friends and family, and on social media. Make sure to tag us at #minecraftexperience!
Please be sure to keep your flash off. Flash photography and video lighting will wash out the projections making your pics and the experience look bad.
Professional photography and video recording are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Experience Mod LLC. If your camera or video gear appears to be professional, you may be asked to take your gear out of the experience.
Much like the game, Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail is intended for all types of players to enjoy. It is considered a physical experience designed to fully immerse you in the Minecraft world through physical engagement.
In addition to walking, the experience can include jumping, reaching up high and down low, throwing objects, and more. However, each guest can participate as much or as little as they like. Those who can’t sit still will be happy to dig into the exploration, and those who would rather watch will enjoy being a spectator.
You do you. We love to see Minecraft related gear and other clothing that looks good in photos. Pull out your cape if you have one! We also encourage comfortable shoes and clothing so you can walk and stand for a long period of time. This experience is outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
