TERMS AND CONDITIONS
for attending the “Minecraft Experience”
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to attendance at “Minecraft Experience” events and to the purchase of tickets and products in connection with these events.
The contracting party is the organiser identified during the ticketing process (“we”, “us”).
2. Conclusion of Contract and Services
The purchase of a ticket constitutes a contract for attendance at the booked event.
The scope of services is set out in the relevant event description.
We are entitled to adjust the running of the event for objective reasons, provided that this does not significantly alter the overall character of the event.
3. Admission and Conduct on the Event Premises
Upon entering the event, visitors undertake to comply with the applicable safety and conduct rules.
In particular, the following is prohibited:
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes),
- Carrying dangerous objects or weapons,
- Bringing food and drink onto the premises (unless expressly permitted),
- Discriminatory, offensive or violent behaviour.
We reserve the right to remove visitors from the premises in the event of breaches of these rules or where there is a valid reason (in particular, endangering other persons or disrupting the course of the event).
4. Age Restrictions
Children up to the age of 14 may only attend the event when accompanied by an adult.
We reserve the right to request proof of age.
5. Photography, Film and Audio Recordings
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event.
These may be used for reporting purposes and to promote future events.
Visitors who do not wish to be recorded please speak to staff on site.
Private recordings are permitted for personal use only. Commercial recordings are not permitted.
6. Safety and Participation
The event may contain immersive elements (e.g. lighting, sound or projection effects).
Visitors are obliged to follow the instructions of the staff.
Participation is subject to the usual risks associated with an event.
7. Tickets
Tickets are valid exclusively for the booked date. Visitors are required to arrive on time. In the event of late arrival, there is no entitlement to admission or a replacement ticket.
Tickets are generally non-refundable. Rebookings – when available – may be made up to 48 hours before the booked date and may be subject to fees. If rebooking to a more expensive date, the price difference must be paid. No refund will be given for rebooking to a cheaper date. Rebookings are subject to availability. Rebooking in the form of gift vouchers or credit is not possible.
If the event is cancelled, a refund or rebooking will be provided.
A no-show does not constitute a cancellation.
8. Right of Withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal pursuant to §18 Abs 1 Z 10 FAGG, as these are services relating to leisure activities with a fixed date.
9. Products
Where products are offered as part of the event, the statutory warranty rights apply.
Returns are only possible in accordance with the conditions communicated on site.
10. Intellectual Property
All content of the event and the associated media (e.g. designs, trademarks, software, audiovisual content) are protected by copyright.
11. Liability
We shall be liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health, as well as for damages arising from intent or gross negligence.
In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) due to simple negligence, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Otherwise, liability for breaches of duty due to simple negligence is excluded.
Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
12. Availability and Changes to Services
We are entitled to change or adapt individual services, provided this is necessary for objective reasons and is reasonable for visitors.
13. Data Protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
14. Final Provisions
Austrian law applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version is available on our website. It is your responsibility to keep yourself informed of any changes. Continued use of our services shall be deemed acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
If you are a consumer, the statutory places of jurisdiction shall apply.
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

This competition is not organised, sponsored or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation or Mojang AB.
- These terms and conditions for the Minecraft Experience Promotion (the “Minecraft Experience Promotion Terms and Conditions”) set out the terms for participating in the promotion run by Experience Mod LLC (“Experience Mod”), in which you will receive a free Minecraft in-game item following the purchase of a ticket and participation in the Minecraft Experience Villager Rescue (the “Minecraft Experience Promotion”). All applicable terms and conditions set out in the Minecraft Experience Terms of Use (Minecraft Experience Terms of Use) also apply to this Minecraft Experience Promotion.
- Details of the Minecraft Experience Promotion:
- Free digital Minecraft item: A “Minecraft Experience” cape that can be used in-game.
- How do I get the promo code for the Minecraft Experience cape?
- You must purchase a ticket and attend the Minecraft Experience.
- After you have redeemed your ticket and attended the Minecraft Experience, you will receive a promo code for the Minecraft Experience cape.
- If you have purchased multiple tickets in a single order and attended the Minecraft Experience together with friends and family members, each participating guest will receive a promo code for the Minecraft Experience cape. The terms of the Microsoft User Agreement (also known as MS/MSA) apply. Unless required by law, the codes cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The promo codes for the Minecraft Experience cape will be distributed in one of two different ways, which vary by city as follows:
- In selected cities, every visitor will receive a printed card with a promotional code upon leaving the Minecraft Experience. In these cities, promotional codes will not be sent by email; the only way to obtain a promotional code is to attend the event and collect a card with the promotional code upon leaving the Minecraft Experience.
- In other cities where no card with a promotional code is issued, after visiting the Minecraft Experience, you will receive an email for each ticket purchased containing the number of promotional codes corresponding to the number of tickets bought.
- How do I redeem the promotional code for the Minecraft Experience Cape?
- The promo code for the Minecraft Experience cape is provided in the form of a Minecraft 5×5 code, which can be redeemed for the free Minecraft Experience in-game item.
- To redeem a promo code, visit Minecraft.net/redeem, enter the 5×5 promo code in the field provided for this Minecraft Experience promotion, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Only one (1) digital Minecraft Experience item available as part of this Minecraft Experience promotion may be redeemed per Microsoft account. If you have more than one promotional code for a specific Minecraft Experience item, you may transfer the promotional code(s) free of charge to a family member, friend or another Minecraft Experience player. You are not permitted to sell any codes received as part of this Minecraft Experience promotion. Each promo code is unique and cannot be used more than once.
- Validity period of the promo code: The promo code for the Minecraft Experience cape must be redeemed no later than thirty (30) days after the end of the Minecraft Experience in the city where you attended the event. To avoid disappointment due to the promo code expiring, please redeem your promotional code for the Minecraft Experience cape as soon as possible after your visit to the Minecraft Experience.
- The digital item available as part of this Minecraft Experience promotion is valid for the computer game Minecraft Bedrock Edition (sold separately). The digital items available as part of this Minecraft Experience promotion are not available for other versions of Minecraft. Minecraft Bedrock Edition and a Microsoft account are required to redeem and use digital items available as part of this Minecraft Experience promotion.
- The Minecraft Experience promotion is not administered by Microsoft Corporation or Mojang AB. Minecraft Experience is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB and is used with the permission of Microsoft Corporation.
- Persons under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the Minecraft Experience promotion.
- All promo codes must be redeemed by their respective expiry dates. Promo codes that are not redeemed by their respective expiry dates will lapse.
- Promo codes and all other benefits made available to you as part of this Minecraft Experience promotion: (i) cannot be exchanged; (ii) have no cash value; (iii) are not intended for resale; and (iv) are invalid if sold or exchanged.
- Experience Mod accepts no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or tampered entries or attempts to redeem Promo Codes, which will be disqualified, nor for problems of any kind, whether caused by the equipment or programmes used in connection with the promotion or by technical or human error that may occur in the processing of the entry in connection with the promotion. Experience Mod accepts no responsibility or liability for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, theft or destruction, or for unauthorised access to or alterations of entries or attempts to redeem Promo Codes.
- The promotion is provided ‘as is’ and expressly excludes all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, as well as any warranties arising from trade custom, usage or business practice. Experience Mod makes no warranty that the free Minecraft Experience digital items or other benefits available as part of this Minecraft Experience promotion, or the use thereof, will meet your or any other person’s requirements, operate without interruption, achieve a specific result, be compatible with or work with specific software, systems or other services, or be secure, accurate, complete, free from malicious code or error-free, or that errors or defects can be or will be rectified.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL EXPERIENCE MOD, ITS AFFILIATES OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS OR DIRECTORS FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS MINECRAFT EXPERIENCE PROMOTION, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER ARISING FROM TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE. THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
- By participating in this Minecraft Experience Promotion, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Experience Mod, its affiliates, licensors, and their respective agents and representatives (including third parties assisting in the administration of this promotion), as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, from any liability arising from claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, death and personal injury, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the award, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misappropriation of a prize, or from participation in this Minecraft Experience Promotion or any related activities.
- This Minecraft Experience Promotion is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
