FAQ
Accessibility
Guests who require assistance throughout the exhibition are eligible for a complimentary Companion ticket. Companions will be granted free admission on arrival (no ticket purchase is needed in advance) but will not be given their own ‘orb of interaction’. Access customers are welcome to share their orb and the game play experience with their companions, but companions will not receive their own orb to play the Minecraft Experience.
If you require the assistance of a Companion/PA, we ask that you provide one of the following forms of documentation, to be shown on entry. This will act as evidence of your requirements. Without this documentation we will be unable to provide access to the exhibition for the Companion/PA.
Accepted forms of documentation include:
• A registered “B” in your disability ID card.
Please note that the guest requiring assistance must have a valid entry ticket.
Companion / PA ticket for a child – To obtain a free Companion or PA ticket, there must be at least one full-priced General Admission ticket in the group. If the person requiring a companion is a child, this would mean purchasing a full-priced General Admission ticket (to be used by the accompanying adult), and the child being given free admission.
A Companion Standard Ticket is available alongside a General Admission Ticket. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a Companion Obsidian Package Ticket due to the number of additional inclusions it has. Companions will be granted free admission on arrival (no ticket purchase is needed in advance), provided accepted forms of documentation are presented on the door (See FAQ: ‘How do I book a ticket for my Companion/PA?’ for more information).
